atom Alliance is committed to assisting providers and practitioners in improving the quality of patient care. We provide quality improvement assistance on a large scale at a systems level or on a smaller scale at an individual case level.

Quality Improvement Initiatives (QIIs) are formal activities that use proven methodologies to achieve improvement. QIIs include the use of evidence-based tools and resources, measurable interventions and proven methodologies. Through QIIs, we can help you

  • identify the root cause of a quality concern
  • develop a framework for improvement
  • test the change, measure for improvement
  • adapt interventions for further improvement and spread

These initiatives may involve providers, practitioners, patients with Medicare and communities. They improve patient safety, health care, population health and value of care.

Referrals to atom for provider and/or practitioner assistance with QIIs may originate from various CMS-approved sources, including the Beneficiary and Family Centered Care QIO (BFCC-QIO), KEPRO if its case review confirms quality of care concerns. Other identified data-driven opportunities and specific provider or practitioner requests for technical assistance may also drive improvements.

We will work with you to devise measurable QIIs and monitor them for successful resolution.
