Prevention Coordination through Meaningful Use
Quality Innovation Network – Quality Improvement Organizations (QIN-QIOs) across the nation are working with Regional Extension Centers (RECs) to improve prevention coordination through Meaningful Use (MU) of health information technology (HIT). Quality improvement specialists from the Qsource will collaborate with RECs to showcase proven interventions that result in primary care providers successfully meeting the requirements of the Medicare EHR Incentive Program. The overall aim is to improve both quality of and care transitions through health information exchange (HIE).
