Pay It Forward on Be an Angel Day
Brighten someone’s day with compassion on August 22nd.
Author and minister Jayne Howard Feldman established Be an Angel Day in 1993 to encourage people to perform random acts of kindness and help those in need.
The help you can offer is not defined or limited. It can be physical, emotional or spiritual. Think about paying a stranger’s parking meter, sending a card to someone who needs cheering up or buying someone’s coffee. Donate blood, take a friend on a nature walk or plant a tree.
Recovering drug addict and former prisoner, actor Danny Trejo says everything good that has happened in his life is a direct result of doing something kind for someone else. Watch his story of recovery and giving back here.
