Opioid Reduction

Qsource is working on a Special Innovation Project (SIP) from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). The purpose of the project is to work collaboratively with IU Hospital Frankfort and physicians, nurse practitioners and dentists in Clinton County Indiana to decrease opioid use.

Qsource works with prescribers and community advocates in Clinton County to implement proven interventions and educate prescribers on opioid misuse. Education for patients in the community will be offered to share alternatives to opioid medication for chronic pain management.
