Module 9: Coaching of The Long-Term Care Version of TeamSTEPPS provides presentations and worksheets to help facilities develop effective team coaches.

The term “coaching” is used to describe a specific action, such as encouraging, reinforcing, offering feedback and demonstrating. Coaching is used in both structured and unstructured activities and provides opportunities to discuss goals, priorities and standards of performance.
