atom Alliance has developed a comparison chart showing the overlap between Meaningful Use (MU) Clinical Quality Measures (CQMs) and the Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS).

One submission of measures can satisfy the Medicare electronic health records (EHR) Incentive Program’s clinical quality measures requirement and PQRS requirements.

If you attest to Meaningful Use, you should submit PQRS Quality Measures and receive a PQRS Incentive payment as well. atom Alliance suggests submitting to both entities because if you don’t participate in PQRS, you will receive a 2% penalty in 2017.
