Advancing Excellence is offering Disrupt Infections: Creating a Community of Prevention workshops to explore how creating unity in the care setting can help break the web of infection in simple, practical ways.

atom Alliance is a long-time partner and supporter of Advancing Excellence, a campaign that helps nursing homes improve the quality of care and quality of life for residents of America’s nursing homes.

The two-hour NAB-approved CEU workshops are being offered in Tennessee and Kentucky to assisted living facilities, hospitals and nursing homes.

The workshops describe a continuum of organizational infection prevention and raise awareness of how acceptance of some current practices inhibits additional practical actions that could better disrupt infections. Attendees will have the opportunity to start developing an organizational plan for infection prevention with elevated steps to apply to their usual infection care routines.
