Combatting C. diff
Using evidence-based HAI prevention strategies increases the quality of patient care, saves lives and decrease healthcare costs.
This Valentine’s Day, encourage staff to share the love, not the germs, by assessing your infection prevention practices that lead to healthcare-associated infections (HAIs), such as Clostridium difficile (C.diff).
Contracted by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to reduce infections in hospitals, Qsource can help you assess and develop infection prevention practices. We work with hospitals in Alabama, Indiana, Kentucky, Mississippi and Tennessee to help providers enter their baseline C. diff data into the CDC’s National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN). We also host educational sessions on effective antimicrobial stewardship programs.
